Ann McDevitt

Ann S. McDevitt (nee Scattergood), June 11, 2021, of King of Prussia PA, formerly of Malvern, passed away peacefully surrounded by family. She was 83.

Passionate Teacher, Scholar and Volunteer. Graduate of Merion Mercy Academy, BS degree from St. Joseph University, Masters from Villanova University.

Daughter of the late Jane (nee Langton) and Harold F. Scattergood, Sr., she was born on March 30, 1938 in Philadelphia, PA. Former spouse of Daniel P McDevitt, Sr.(deceased). Beloved  mother of Daniel P. McDevitt, Jr.(Tina), Timothy F. McDevitt, M.D.(Candice), Katherine McDevitt Micciolo (Tony), Michael J. McDevitt (Kathy)  and Matthew G. McDevitt (Holly). Also survived by 14 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Sister of Jane MacNeal (deceased), Patricia Burk (deceased), Christine Barone, Mary Katherine Moser, Thomas Scattergood and Harold Scattergood, Jr.

Relatives and friends are invited to visitation Wednesday, June 16, 2021 between 10:00 – 11:00am at St. Katherine of Sienna located in Wayne, funeral mass to immediately follow. Interment St. Denis Cemetery, Havertown.
