David Gannett

David Wayne Gannett, 63, of West Chester, PA, passed away peacefully in Scottsdale, AZ on December 15, 2020.

Dave was born and raised in Springfield, PA. He was a 1975 graduate of Springfield High School and attended Temple University, where he received a BBA in Marketing. He went on to become an exceptional salesman in the ultrasound industry with various companies for over 30 years and ended with GE Healthcare.

Dave was a devoted husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather, and friend. He was preceded in death by his parents, Therese and John Gannett and sister, JoAnne Stewart (Rick)

Left to cherish the memories of his life are his wife, Holly Gannett; three children, David Gannett (Erin) of Downingtown PA, Chris Gannett (Maria) of Downingtown, PA, and Alex Gannett (Melissa) of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; brothers Jack Gannett (Sheri) of Charlotte, NC and Bruce Gannett (Peggy) of West Chester, PA; and his adoring grandchildren Avery, Emily, Lily, Christopher, and Ciara, who affectionately knew him as “Pops”, along with his Aunt Dee Dee, many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Dave’s beautiful heart touched the lives of all those around him. He had a passion in life to make others feel loved and appreciated. He enjoyed reading about world history, following sports and was an avid golfer. Your prayers and concern provided him much comfort and strength throughout his battle. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Mass 10:00 AM Monday, December 28, 2020 at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, 100 Fellowship Rd, Chester Springs, PA. Interment is private.
