Dr. Stephen Ching

Dr. Stephen Wing-Fook Ching, age 85, of West Brandywine, PA, passed away on October 10, 2021.   Dr. Ching was born in Canton, China.

Dr. Ching received his BSE in Electrical Engineering from the National Taiwan University in 1959 and his PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania in 1965.

Dr. Ching was a retired Chairman of the Computer Science Department at Villanova University, where he taught for 31 years.

Dr. Ching is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Nancy.  Loving father of Stanley Ching (Cherry), Stephanie Ching Kim (Eugene) and the late Stephen Ching, Jr. (Theresa).  Grandfather of Stephen Ching, III, Ellisen Ching, Michael Ching, Conor Ching, Claire Ching, Stephen Kim, Cordelia Kim and Kaitlyn Kim.   Services and interment are private.
