Edward Walsh, Jr.

Edward P. "Eddie" Walsh, Jr., age 89, of Upper Darby, PA, passed away on February 8, 2021.  Born in Philadelphia, PA, Eddie was the son of the late Edward P. Walsh, Sr. and Florence Walsh (nee Hughes).

Eddie had been employed as a Purchasing Agent for Williard Mechanical in Jenkintown, PA.

Eddie was predeceased by his beloved wife, Evelyn Walsh (nee George) and his siblings Joan McCabe, Regina Ruane, George Walsh and Billy Walsh.  He is survived by his loving children Jeanne Hunt (Kevin), Eddie Walsh, III (Paula), John Walsh (Desiree) and Jimmy Walsh.   Dear grandfather of Kevin (Nicole), Alex (Anne), Lindsay (Dave), Jacqueline, Colin, Zachary, Samantha, Julia, and Evan, and his great-grandchild Lagertha.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit the family Sunday, February 14, 2021 4:00-6:00 PM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike (cor. Lynn Blvd.), Upper Darby, PA (610) 449-0300 and to his Funeral Mass Monday, February 15, 2021 11:00 AM at St. Laurence Lower Church, 8245 West Chester Pike,  Upper Darby, PA.  Interment will be private.

Masks are to be worn when visiting the family and to the Funeral Mass.   Social distancing is to be observed.
