Elizabeth McDevitt

Elizabeth (“Libby”) Jones McDevitt of Bryn Mawr passed away January 27, 2022 at the age of 63.

Libby was born in Greensboro, N.C. on March 18, 1958.

She is survived by her husband, Brian, her son, William, step-daughters, Meghan (Damien) Hanly and Katie (Tom) Ingelsby and step-grandchildren, Grace, Tommy and Rory.

Libby was preceded in death by her parents, Milnor and Julia Jones and her brother, M. Price, all of Greensboro, N.C. where Libby resided until her marriage in 1996.

Libby graduated from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for both her undergraduate and graduate degrees.

She spent her business career in statistical research in telecommunication and pharmaceuticals.  Her next chapter was devoted to raising her son and doting on pets.  Family and friends will remember her artistic talent, love of puzzles and games, and of course, her dedication to the tar heels (even after marrying one Wahoo and raising another.)
