Gary Gumerman

Gary Gumerman, 78, of Glen Mills, PA passed away on May 26, 2020.

Born in 1942 in Philadelphia, PA he was the son of the late Harry and Sarah (née Fritz) Gumerman.

He was the beloved husband of Phyllis (née Buzgon) Gumerman; loving father of Enissa Borine (Tony Gryga), BJ Shandler (Scot); devoted grandfather of Brittany (Ross), Braxton (Siena), Eric, Brooke; dear brother of the late Blanche Maron and the late Al Gumerman.

Also survived by many nieces and nephews, all of whom he adored.

Gary loved watching sports, exercising, and music.  But most of all he LOVED being with his family and enjoyed celebrating birthdays, holidays, and milestones.  No matter what the occasion there always had to be a cake involved.

He will always be remembered for his singing, jokes, and stories.  He was a wonderful husband, the best daddy, and the greatest pop-pop. There is nothing he would not do for any of his family and he will be missed forever and always remembered.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a Life Celebration will be planned for a later date when things open up again.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Gary's memory to La Salle College High School, 8605 Cheltenham Avenue, Wyndmoor, PA 19038 to benefit the Guardian Angel Fund.
