Grace Flanagan

Grace Ann Flanagan, age 60, of Downingtown, PA passed away on June 21, 2020.
Grace graduated from Cardinal O’Hara High School in Springfield, PA. She received her Bachelor of Science in Food Marketing and Master of Business Administration from Saint Joseph’s University and her Master’s Degree in Education from Immaculata University. She was a professor at Pennsylvania State University and Strayer University. She was employed by Verizon as an Enterprise Account Executive and then a manager of Operations.
Grace was the beloved daughter of the late Eugene and Grace (nee Doherty) Flanagan; loving mother of Paul, Brendan, Marigrace, and Connor Boothman; and dear sister of Eugene Flanagan and Theresa Murtagh.
Grace was a devout Roman Catholic, she was an active member of St. Joseph’s in Downingtown Catholic Church. Her faith was very important to her. She prayed the Rosary and said Novenas nightly as well attended mass daily.
She was a member of many organizations including, the Donegal Society, Mayo Society, Women’s Association of Verizon Employees, Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society, Golden Heart Committee, and National Association of Professional Women in which she earned Woman of the Year.
Grace enjoyed traveling, dancing, going to events and parties, and competitive running. She loved Poker, Irish Culture, Education, and Philanthropy.
Relatives and Friends are invited to her Visitation Friday, June 26, 2020, 6:00 – 9:00 PM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 1627 West Chester Pike, West Chester, PA 19382, and Saturday 10:00 – 11:00 AM at
St. Mary Magdalen Church, 2400 N. Providence Road, Media, PA 19063
, followed by her Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery.
