Jeffrey Jackson

Jeffrey K. Jackson, 54, of West Chester, PA, formerly of Salinas, Ca, passed away May 13, 2021.

Born August 22, 1966 in Sunnyvale, CA, he was the son of George Claudius and Nancy Jean (nee Kyle) Jackson.

Jeff was a 1985 graduate of Lynbrook High School, earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting in 1989 from Chico State University, and earned his Master’s Degree in Public Administration in 2002 from Golden Gate University.

Jeff's entrepreneurial spirit started at age 12 when he began mowing lawns around his neighborhood in Vienna, VA. His work ethic was evident in the many jobs he took on as a young adult. His passion and commitment for serving the community led him to a lifelong career in police work.  Jeff served in the Monterey Police Department for 26 years, retiring in 2016 as a Lt from 2006 to 2016.

In his retirement he worked at the Philadelphia Airport as an agent for United Airlines, which allowed Bridget, Jeff, and Christopher to travel the world.

Jeff was a dedicated father and husband. Nothing was more important than the time spent with his son, Christopher.  In the past year, they had many adventures as they explored the country together.  Jeff's passions were family, friends, the community, traveling, cars, music and his faith. To meet Jeff was to love Jeff.  He will be tremendously missed.

He was the beloved husband of Bridget K. (nee Dugan) Jackson; loving father of Douglas J. Jackson, Ashley K. Jackson, and Christopher G. Jackson; dear brother of Julie Hampson (Scott); adoring uncle of Kelsey and Kyle Hampson; cherished son-in-law of Greg and Joanne Dugan; and caring brother-in-law of Joe Dugan (Shannon) and Jim Dugan (Shannon).

A Visitation was held 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM, Friday, May 21, 2021 at Christ Community Church, 1190 Phoenixville Pike, West Chester, PA 19380, followed by his Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. The Funeral Service was livestreamed through The Donohue Funeral Home Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/thedonohuefuneralhome/ . Interment is private.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life 10 AM Saturday, June 5, 2021 at Compass Church, 830 Padre Drive, Salinas, CA 93901.
