John Harshaw

John R. "Jack" Harshaw, 87, formerly of Ridley Park, Pa passed away at home after a short illness on June 24, 2019. Born in Havertown, Jack was the only child to the late Robert S. and Irene G. (nee Zannelly) Harshaw and was the husband, of 48 years, to the late Katherine T. (nee Cowden) Harshaw. After high school, Jack served in the Army and was a veteran of The Korean War. He was later discharged in 1955. He worked for Transworld Airlines for many years and enjoyed his time working in the airline industry. Jack is survived by his three children, daughters, Nancy J. Bolden (Bill) and Anne M. Kelley (Joe) and son, Robert Harshaw (Elena), his grandchildren, Megan, Robert, Sean, Kim, John, Dylan, Ashleigh, Allison, Christopher, Anthony and Justin and is also survived by his loving companion, Vicki DeMarco and his 17 great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Monday, July 1, 2019 from 10 AM to 11 AM at The Knoetgen-Donohue Funeral Home, 746 Kedron Avenue Morton, PA 19070 followed by his Funeral Service at 11 AM. Interment Mt Zion Memorial Cemetery, Darby, PA.
