Joseph Hutton, Jr.

Joseph G. Hutton, Jr., age 76, of Havertown, PA, passed peacefully with his children by his bedside on May 12, 2021.

Joseph was the beloved husband of the late Amelia (nee Lallone) Hutton; the loving father of Joseph Hutton, III (Colleen), Lorianne Gillander (Brendan), and Vincent Hutton (Jacqi).  He is also survived by his 8 grandchildren and his brother John Hutton (Diane).  He is predeceased by his sister, Mary Ann Rich.

Joseph served honorably in the U.S. Navy on the USS Coral Sea during the Vietnam War.  He was a Detective Sergeant for the Haverford Township Police Department for 25 years, retiring in 1995.  Joseph was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police.  He was an avid fisherman and loved vacationing at the Outer Banks with family.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation, Thursday, May 20, 2021, 9:30 – 10:30 AM at Sacred Heart Church, Manoa & Shelbourne Roads, Havertown, PA 19083, followed by his Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM.  Interment SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
