Mary Mullen

Mary “Jane” Mullen, age 79, passed away December 31, 2019, surrounded by her loving family.

Beloved sister and aunt, Mary Jane Mullen, entered peacefully into eternal rest after several years of advancing dementia. She is survived by her brother Jess Allsman and wife Marie of Media, her nephews James Allsman of Havertown and Steve Allsman of West Chester and niece Keren Russell of Aston. She was a loving wife to husband, Francis J Mullen, for 32 years. He predeceased her in 2012. She was completely devoted to family, and having no children of her own, lavished love and affection on her nephews and niece.

Christmas was her favorite season, and her beautifully decorated home was always a highlight of the Lansdowne Christmas house tours, (opening her home to visitors during the holidays.) She also enjoyed gardening, and her love of Williamsburg was evident in her beautifully decorated home. She and Frank were also members of the local swim club and were regulars at the pool. She also enjoyed various collectibles. In her most recent years she has won the hearts of many staff members at Sunrise of Media. She will be missed, but her legacy will carry on.

A Memorial Service will be held in the spring of 2020.  Service information will be posted when it becomes available at a later date.
