Rita Wilkinson

Rita Marie Wilkinson (nee Phillips), of Upper Darby, PA, passed away on Friday, October 22, 2021. Daughter of the late Vincent Phillips and the late Catherine (nee McAndrews) Phillips, Rita was the wife of the late Walter Wilkinson.

Rita was the loving mother of Linda (Joseph) Melito, Joanne Anderson, Michael (Susann), and Walter (Kristin). She was the sister of Joan McManus, Mary Callahan, the late John Phillips and Vincent Phillips. She will be missed by her grandchildren Joey, Nikki, Michael, Lindsey, Steven, Brian, Billy, Matthew, Julia, Kailee, Kenzie, the late Walter and her two great grandsons, Michael and Myles.

Rita loved spending time in Wildwood, NJ and was an active member of the St. Bernadette’s women’s bowling team. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and was always willing to babysit. She was always ready and eager to have lunch or dinner out with friends and family.

Friends and family are invited to her Visitation from 9:30-10:30 AM on Saturday, October 30th  at St. Bernadette of Lourdes Church, 1035 Turner Ave, Drexel Hill, PA, followed by her Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM. Interment SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
