Adrian B. Cole, age 84, of Havertown, PA, passed away on March 14, 2021. Born in Philadelphia, PA he was the son of the late Adrian S. and Margaret Cole (nee Green).
Adrian was a graduate of Upper Darby High School and was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps stationed in Japan from 1956-1959.
He had been employed for PECO in Plant Accounting. He retired in 1995 after 42 years of service. After retiring from PECO, Adrian worked for 13 years for Enterprise Rent-A-Car and was a driver for Surrey Services.
Adrian loved traveling, especially to Florida. He was an avid golfer, loved all Philadelphia sports and softball. He was a member of the ASA (American Softball Association) and was inducted into their Hall of Fame.
Adrian is survived by his beloved wife, Lois Anne Cole (nee Adams), his loving children Audrey Beth Walsh (Timothy), Andrew Barrie Cole, Adrian Charles Cole (David), and his four (4) stepdaughters who loved him dearly, Danielle Goffman, Nicole Shingle, Gabrielle Jackson (Mark) and Vena Wilson (Blake). Also survived by his nine (9) grandchildren Timothy J. Walsh, Elizabeth Hartman, Matthew Walsh, Victoria Walsh, Samuel Jackson, Madison Wilson, Jadyn Goffman, Maya Goffman and Zachary Kaminski and his three (3) great-grandchildren Timothy, Timothy and Levi. Also survived by his brother Walter Cole "Terry" (Lenore).
Relatives and friends are invited to visit the family Friday, March 19, 2021 6:00-7:30 PM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA (610) 449-0300 and to his Funeral Service at 7:30 PM. Interment private.
Masks are to be worn when visiting the family and to the Funeral Service. Social distancing is to be observed.
