Albert "Al" G. Barbaritz

Albert G. “Al” Barbaritz, age 89, of Cheektowaga, NY, passed away on June 17, 2022.

Born in Buffalo, NY, he was the son of Boniface and Theresa (née Halber) Barbaritz. 

Al served his country honorably in the U.S. Navy.  He was employed for over 40 years with Buffalo Forge as a machinist and where he also formed a breakfast club.  Al loved to square dance and was part of a square dancing group, known as Trail-N-Squares.

Al enjoyed working with his hands and enjoyed assembling model trains, airplanes as well as boats.  He was a World War II history buff that loved and liked reading and watching war story shows.

Al was the beloved husband of the late Caroline Jean (née Hoffman) Barbaritz; the loving father of Scott Barbaritz (Neida) and Glenn Barbaritz (Melanie); and the proud grandfather of Aiden.  He is also survived by his sister-in-laws, Eleanor Barbaritz, and Sue Lojacono.  He is predeceased by his brothers, Frank (the late Dolores) and Rich Barbaritz.

Services and interment will be held privately.
