Al Creely Jr.

Albert “Al” L. Creely Jr., 74, of Glen Mills, PA and formerly of Upper Darby, PA passed away on June 6, 2023.

Born in Philadelphia, PA in 1949, he was the son of the late Albert L. Sr. and Helen (née Goodwin) Creely.

Al served honorably in the US Air National Guard. After earning his Bachelor’s degree, in Mechanical Engineering from Drexel University, he worked in the automotive manufacturing industry.

Al enjoyed woodworking and baking. He was active in the Upper Darby High School Choral Music Association and the Community Y Girls' Gymnastic Team in Drexel Hill. He was a family man who loved his family and participating in all his children's activities.

Al was the beloved husband, for 54 years, of Janet (née Sturn); loving father of Albert III (Nicole) and Hilliary Creely (Ben Ford); proud grandfather of Alec, Paxton Ford and Lincoln Ford; dear brother of Barbara Danner (Gerald).

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Please check back for information.
