Albert Porter

Albert S. Porter, age 86, a 52 year resident of Upper Darby, PA, formerly of West Philadelphia, passed away on August 17, 2014. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Albert and Amelia Porter (nee Ranonis). Mr. Porter was a graduate of St. Thomas More High School in Philadelphia. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He was employed with Finnaren & Haley Paints in Pilgrim Gardens for over 50 years. He retired in 1995 as Manager of the store.



Albert was predeceased by his wife, Marie Porter (nee Boerckle). He is survived by his sons Robert and Richard Porter, his grandchildren Lacey, Amber and Kaylee and his sisters Ruth Budow and Bernice Pine.



Relatives and friends are invited to visit the family Thursday, August 21, 2014 9:30-10:20 AM St. Laurence Church, 8245 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby and to his Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM. Interment Calvary Cemetery.
