Albert Tolvaisa

Albert Tolvaisa, age 87, of Drexel Hill, PA, formerly of South Philadelphia, PA, passed away on January 28, 2016. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Stanley and Regina Tolvaisa.
He served in the United States Army during the Korean War era. Albert had been employed as a Correctional Officer at Graterford Prison.
Albert was predeceased by his wife, Bernadette M. Tolvaisa (nee Guenther) and his daughter, Bernadette Tolvaisa.
He is survived by his son, Albert Tolvaisa (Patricia) and his grandchildren Michael, Patrick and Amanda.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Wednesday, February 3, 2016 7:00-9:00 PM and Thursday, February 4, 2016 9:00-9:45 AM The Donohue Funeral Home, 3300 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA (610) 353-6300 and to his Funeral Mass 10:30 AM St. Dorothy Church, 4910 Township Line Road, Drexel Hill, PA. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon, PA.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 would be appreciated.
