Alberta A. Roach (nee Jacob), 82, of Malvern, passed away on November 9, 2016.
Born in 1934 in Detroit, MI, she was the daughter of the late James Clifford and Alice (nee Singelyn) Roach.
Alberta enjoyed quilting, gardening, and playing tennis. She was very active in the community and devoted her time to fundraising and volunteering for the Red Cross blood drives.
She was the beloved wife of the late Dean Wm Roach; loving mother of Clifford J. Roach (Meg Todd), Josh Roach (Rondine), Robin Heid (Stephen), Mary Deanne Lang (Jeffrey), the late Bill D. Roach, and the late Miles L. Roach; dear sister of Sandra Stewart; loving grandmother of Jamie, Miles, Jason, Ally, Kevin, Maddie, Dean, and Dylan.
Relatives and friends are invited to her visit the family 3:00-5:00 PM Saturday, November 26, 2016 at The Donohue Funeral Home, 366 W Lancaster Avenue, Wayne, PA 19087, 610-989-9600. Interment is private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 399 Market Street, Suite 102, Philadelphia, PA 19106.
