Alice Carlin

Alice M. Carlin, age 60, of Havertown, PA, passed away on June 2, 2013 at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late William J. and Rita D. Carlin (nee McDevitt). She was a 1970 graduate of West Catholic Girls High School. Alice attended St. Joseph University and graduated from Temple University. She received her R.N. and B.S.N degrees from Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. She was employed as a registered nurse with the University of Pennsylvania Health System for the past 30 years.



She is survived by her brothers and sister William (Diane) Carlin, Dolores (John) Weber, Mike (Nancy) Carlin and Bernard (Mary Jo) Carlin, her nieces and nephews Melanie, Jason, Sarah, Tim, Brian, Michelle, Julie, Christine and Bridget and 6 great-nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to visit the family Wednesday, June 5, 2013 7-9 PM The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester (cor. Lynn Blvd.) Upper Darby, PA and to her Funeral Mass Thursday, June 6, 2013 10 AM St. Bernadette Church, 1035 Turner Avenue, Drexel Hill, PA. Interment SS Peter & Paul Cemetery.
