Alice Marie Guard, 75, of West Chester, passed away on January 21, 2016.
Born in 1940 in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Clifford and Elizabeth (nee Stoll) Bailer. Alice worked as a Teacher's Aid at East Goshen Elementary.
Alice was the beloved wife of Wayne R. Guard; the loving mother of Mary E. Bloom (Steven), Alison M. Klinger (Robert), Melanie A. Wilkie, and Heather C. Hall (Andrew); the grandmother of David Wilkie, Wayne Wilkie, Tyler Wilkie, Kyle Hall, Nathan Bloom, Madison Bloom, and Zachary Bloom; the dear sister of Elizabeth Tinneny, George Bailer, William Bailer, and Michael Bailer; she was predeceased by her brother Clifford J. Bailer, Jr.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation 6:00-8:00 PM Tuesday, January 26, 2016 and 9:00-10:00 AM Wednesday at The Donohue Funeral Home, 1627 West Chester Pike, West Chester, PA 19382, 610-431-9000 followed by her Funeral Mass 10:30 AM at SS Simon & Jude Church, 8 Cavanaugh Court, West Chester, PA 19382. Interment Birmingham Lafayette Cemetery.
