Alice G. Krause (nee Gormley), age 98, of Havertown, PA, formerly of West Philadelphia, PA, passed away on March 19, 2019.
Alice was a graduate of West Catholic Girls High School in Philadelphia.
She had been employed as a Probation Officer at the Media Court House.
Alice loved her home and entertaining family and friends.
She loved sports and was a fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and Villanova, Duke and UVA basketball.
Alice was predeceased by her beloved husband, Thomas V. Krause, her son, Thomas V. Krause, Jr. and her siblings Anna Grewe, Joseph Gormley, James Gormley and Kathleen Segar. She is survived by her loving daughters Alicia K. Melchionni (Bill) and Jane D. Krause.
She is also survived by her grandchildren Bill Melchionni (Ellen), Keith Melchionni (Christina), Drew Melchionni (Katie) and 8 great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Sunday March 24, 2019 7:00-9:00 PM at The Donohue Funeral Home 8401 W. Chester Pk. Upper Darby, Pa 19082 and Monday, March 25, 2019 9:30-10:30 AM at Annunciation BVM Church, 401 Brookline Blvd., Havertown, PA followed by her Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM.
Interment SS Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
