Alice H. Doppler Wells (nee Hewes), age 90, of West Brandywine, PA, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on November 19, 2018.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late George H. and Mary A. Hewes (nee Raffensperger).
Alice had been employed as a secretary for the Upper Darby School District for over 30 years.
She was a longtime member of Bethany Evangelical Church and taught Sunday School for 38 years.
She enjoyed vacationing in Ocean City, NJ with her family and also enjoyed painting.
Alice was predeceased by her beloved husband, Russell Wells.
She is survived by her loving children Janice Doppler, Richard Doppler (Luci), David Doppler (Jo) and Pamela Buoni (Jim), her brother, G. Thomas Hewes (Marie), and her 8 grandchildren and 14 grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Saturday, November 24, 2018 10:00-11:00 AM at Bethany Evangelical Church, 5 N. Concord Avenue, Havertown, PA and to her Funeral Service at 11:00 AM.
Interment Arlington Cemetery, Drexel Hill, PA.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory to the Parkinson's Disease and Movement Disorder Center, 330 S. 9th Street, 3rd Floor, Philadelphia, PA 19107 would be appreciated
