Amelia Shahade

July 9, 1924 — November 26, 2013

Amelia E. Shahade (nee Capriotti), age 89, passed away on November 26, 2013. Born in Ardmore, PA, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Dominica Capriotti (nee Ciotti).

Amelia is survived by her children Edward M. Shahade, Jr., Joseph J. Shahade (Rita) and Karen Kane (Joseph J. Kane, Jr.), her brother Edward Capriotti and sister Angelina Catania, her grandchildren Joseph Shahade, Kristina Shahade, Lauren E. Kane, Brendan J. Kane and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Edward M. Shahade, with whom she shared 57 years of marriage, and her grandson Joseph Patrick Kane.

Amelia loved being with her grandchildren and her family.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Monday, December 2, 2013 10:00-11:00 AM Our Mother of Good Counsel Church, 31 Pennswood Road, Bryn Mawr, PA followed by her Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment Calvary Cemetery, West Conshohocken.
