Andrew Addison Brenner, Sr., age 49 of Glen Mills, PA, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 2, 2019.
Born in Bryn Mawr, PA on April 16, 1969, he was the son of Ralph and Joan Brenner. Andrew graduated high school from The Episcopal Academy in 1987. From there, he attended Dickinson College where he was a member of the Theta Chi Fraternity. He graduated in 1991 with a Major in Political Science and a Minor in Business Administration.
Andrew was loving, funny and down to earth. A passionate fisherman, Andrew enjoyed offshore fishing and found great peace on the Ocean. Summers in Avalon and Stone Harbor spent on the beach with family and friends were some of his favorite memories. Andrew was a hard worker and always willing to devote his time to helping others. As both a board member and a coach, Andrew spent time coaching and mentoring youth soccer players. Andrew also devoted his time serving on the boards of many charitable organizations.
Most importantly, Andrew treasured the time he spent with his family. Andrew was a devoted father, husband, and uncle. A day did not go by where he was not filled with pride for his family, as they meant more than anything in the world to him. He had immense joy in watching and supporting his children at their sporting events. He also enjoyed many other fond moments with his family, such as going to the movies and cheering on the Philadelphia sports teams. His ultimate claim to fame in the family was his impeccable grilling skills, as he spent many summer nights out on the top deck grilling the fresh fish he had caught the previous day. He worked tirelessly to make his family happy and to put smiles on all their faces, any time Andrew spent with his family was cherished.
Andrew is survived by his wife, Kimberly; his children, Lauren, Andrew and Olivia; his in-laws, siblings, nieces, nephews and many dear friends and colleagues.
