Andrew Carden Nov. 9th, 1947- Nov. 1st 2019
Andrew Carden Jr was the devoted husband to Margret Carden. He was born in Upper Darby Pennsylvania and raised his family in West Chester Pennsylvania. Andrew served in the U.S Navy for 20 years, at the time of his discharge had achieved the rank of Gunner’s Mate Chief Petty Officer. During his devoted service to his country he was presented the following awards:

He greatly enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and hunting. He retired to Walterboro South Carolina where he was able to spend time with family and friends.
Even when faced with a battle against cancer, he faced the struggle head on without fear in a way that only a man with his years of dedication to his family and country and his legacy could do. He never gave up, he earned his rest.
He is survived by his sons, Andrew Carden III (Melissa Carden) and Anthony Carden (Alexandra Carden), as well as his grandchildren Annabelle and Anthony.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation 9:00-10:30 AM Saturday, November 16, 2019 at The Donohue Funeral Home, 1627 West Chester Pike, West Chester, PA 19382, 610-431-9000, followed by his Memorial Service at 10:30 AM. Interment SS Peter & Paul Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family is accepting donations in Andrews name to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, KS 66675-8516, which was a worthy cause close to his heart.
