Andrew L. Grant

Andrew Grant, age 58, a dedicated lifelong resident of West Chester, PA, passed away on October 2, 2024. He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Theresa (nee DiGregorio) Grant. Andrew is survived by his father, Lawrence (Larry) Grant, and stepmother, Mary Ellen Lee, of Purvis, MS; his sisters, Judith Grant (Gerard Hoefling) of Newark, DE, and Nicole Doyle (Frank) of West Chester; and his cherished nieces, Mackenzie and Grace Doyle, both of West Chester. He is also remembered by numerous cousins and a wide circle of friends.

Andy, affectionately known as “Big A” by his friends, had a fulfilling career, most recently working in various IT positions for Chester County Government. His career also included several years in the food service industry in West Chester and Lancaster, PA. A proud graduate of Malvern Prep, he earned an Associate’s Degree in Computer Science from Penn State Malvern Campus.

Andy had a deep passion for working on cars, participating in firework displays, and attending concerts and NASCAR events. His happy place was Disney, where he cherished countless trips with friends and family.

The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Serenity Hospice for the compassionate care they provided to Andrew in his final days.

Funeral arrangements are private and being handled by the Donohue Funeral Home in West Chester, PA.
