Andrew Hines

Andrew A. "Bud" Hines, age 87, a 55 year resident of Springfield, PA, passed away peacefully at his residence on January 11, 2015. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Matthew and Bridget Hines (nee McDonnell). Bud was a proud 1945 graduate of St. Thomas More High School in Philadelphia, attended Villanova University and was a graduate of Georgia Tech. He served in the United States Navy during World War II. He was employed as a chemical lab technician for Arco Chemical in Newtown Square for 37 years. He retired in 1988.



Bud is survived by his beloved wife Rita (nee Gillespie), his children Andrea Hines, Nancy Remy (Steve), Matthew Hines and Paul Hines (Kara) and his 5 grandchildren. He was predeceased by his son, Michael Hines.
