Andrew Janeka, age 94, of Omaha, NE, formerly of Drexel Hill, PA, passed away on September 9, 2015.
Born in Disputanta, VA, he was the son of the late George and Annie Janeka and the husband of the late Ruth R. Janeka. He served in the Armed Forces during World War II and received an honorable discharge from the 3367th Signal Service Battalion in January, 1946.
Mr. Janeka retired in 1986 after 38 years as the Superintendent of the Jefferson Building located at 1015 Chestnut Street, Philadelphia, PA. He moved to Nebraska with his daughter, Donna and her family in 2009.
He is survived by his daughter, Donna Gurley, son-in-law Eric Gurley, granddaughter Olivia, son Andrew J. Janeka, daughter-in-law Rose Janeka, daughter Andrea George and his brother, John Janeka.
