Angelo Perri

February 20, 1926 — September 20, 2017

Angelo J. Perri, age 91, of Havertown, PA, passed away on September 20, 2017. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Joseph and Mary Perri (nee Matteis).



Angelo was an educator with the Philadelphia School District. He was the Chair of the Science Department at Philadelphia Girls High. He was a member of Annunciation BVM Church, where he was an usher and a member of the Annunciation Seniors Group. He was a longtime baseball coach of the "Giants" for the Brookline Little League, formerly the Catholic War Vets Little League.



Angelo was predeceased by his beloved wife Mary Patricia Perri (nee Campbell) and his sister Theresa Petruska. He is survived by his loving children Angelo (Patti) Perri, Mary Pat (PJ) Winterhalter and Paul (Elena) Perri, his 7 grandchildren Victoria Gadomski (Andrew), Erin Caroulis (George), Paul Winterhalter (Sara), Bridget Winterhalter, Christopher Perri, Sean Perri and Matthew Rooney (Chloe Austin), his 3 great-grandchildren George Caroulis, James Caroulis and Benjamin Gadomski, his sister Mary Lou McElhiney and many nieces and nephews.



Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Monday, September 25, 2017 7:00-9:00 PM and Tuesday, September 26, 2017 9:00-10:00 AM The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike (cor. Lynn Blvd.), Upper Darby, PA (610) 449-0300 and to his Funeral Mass 10:30 AM Annunciation BVM Church, 401 Brookline Blvd., Havertown, PA. Interment St. Denis Cemetery.



Contributions in Angelo's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 would be appreciated.
