Anita McBride

Anita L. McBride (nee Teed), age 60, of Upper Darby, PA passed away suddenly on May 16, 2017. Beloved wife of Joseph T. McBride for 40 years. Loving mother of Tiffany A. Eastridge and Angel M. McBride. Loving daughter of Elizabeth H. Johnson (nee Belmont) and the late Ray Ellis Teed. Sister of Phyllis McLeod and the late Sharon Poore. Mimi of Calvin, Kennadi and Danny Angus. She was always present, no matter the occasion.



Anita would have been there day and night, no matter what. Her heart was open to the world. She was very caring, generous, loving, selfless, and compassionate. Anita loved gardening and crafting. She also loved listening to live music and one of her favorite songs was "You Are So Beautiful," by Joe Cocker. Anita loved vacations. Her favorite places to go was the beach and the Pocono Mountains. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Some of her favorite things were family gatherings, decorating during the holidays, and watching the sunrise or sunset.

Lynn Blvd.), Upper Darby, PA (610) 449-0300 and Monday, May 22, 2017 10:00-11:00 AM followed by her Life Celebration Service at 11:00 AM. Interment Arlington Cemetery, Drexel Hill, PA.
