Ann K. Derk (nee Kertis), 90, of West Chester, formerly of Media, passed away peacefully at home on February 3, 2016.
Born in 1925 in Chester, PA, she was the daughter of the late George and Anna (nee Zolko) Kertis.
Ann enjoyed luncheons with family and friends, spending time with her grandchildren, reading, and working in her garden and yard.
She retired from Macy's and then worked for several years at Riddle Village.
Ann was the beloved wife of the late Charles E. Derk, Jr.; the loving mother of Gregory E. Derk (Monica) and Kathleen A. Rhein (Bradley); the grandmother of Alex, Justin, and Brendan Rhein; the sister of Robert Kertis (Carole) and Frank Kertis (Josephine); and the sister-in-law of Anne Kertis; also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation 10:30-11:30 AM Monday, February 8, 2016 at The Donohue Funeral Home, 1627 West Chester Pike, West Chester, PA 19382, 610-431-9000 and to her Memorial Service at 11:30 AM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 927 S. Providence Rd, Wallingford, PA 19086.
