Ann Troy

July 20, 1932 — February 16, 2015

Ann F. Troy of Villanova died the morning of February 16th at Bryn Mawr Hospital.



Born July 20, 1932, in Merion, she was the daughter of Dr. Michael P and Mary (Nagle) Fogarty, both deceased.



She was the wife of Paul E. Troy, Jr.; loving mother of Paul C. Troy (Liz) and Michael P. Troy (Alison); loving grandmother of Megan, Sarah, Katie, Jack, Maggie, and Ashley. She was predeceased by her sister, Kitty Fogarty.



Ann was graduated from Merion Mercy Academy and the University of Pennsylvania where she was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta and received the Fathers Trophy. She then received her master's degree in Economics from Penn.



She worked at Radio Corporation of America and Philadelphia National bank. When her youngest child was in first grade, she went into the real estate business.



Ann worked as an Associated Broker and Broker Appraiser at C.N. Agnew Realtor, Inc. She was a member of the Main Line Board of Realtors and served as chairman of several committees such as Director of Education and received the outstanding service award in 1986. She was also on the Delaware Valley Real Estate Board, the Pennsylvania Association of Realtors, and the National Association of Realtors.



Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation 9:30-10:20 a.m. Saturday, February 21, 2015 at St. John Neumann Church, 380 Highland Lane, Bryn Mawr, PA 19010, and to her Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment Calvary Cemetery, West Conshohocken, PA.



In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Devon Preparatory School at 363 Valley Forge Road Devon, PA 19333.
