Born in Darby, PA, she was the daughter of the late Joseph F. and Bonvita (nee McShane) Brown. Ann worked as a medical technician for many years.
She was the beloved wife of 60 years of Henry J. Whalen, Jr.; loving mother of Cindy Shay (Bob), Bonnie Monastra (George, Jr.), and Allison Savage (Stephen); devoted grandmother of Monica, Bobby, Lauren, Gregory, Kyle, Brett, and Megan; adoring great-grandmother of Ronan and Marshall with another great-grandson on the way; predeceased by her brother, Joseph F. Brown.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation 10:00-11:00 AM Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at St. Bernadette Church, 1035 Turner Avenue, Drexel Hill, PA 19026 followed by his Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Inurnment Arlington Cemetery, Drexel Hill.
