Ann M. White

Ann M. White (née Donohue), age 90, of West Chester, peacefully passed away in the comfort of her home on July 10, 2023.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late John G. Donohue and Mary Brennan Donohue. Ann grew up in Upper Darby and graduated from Villa Maria Academy.

Ann's professional path led her to a remarkable career in real estate with Weichert Realtors. She collaborated closely with builders, successfully selling numerous communities in Chester and Delaware Counties. Ann's unwavering commitment to excellence earned her great respect as a true professional among her peers.

Beyond her professional achievements, Ann found happiness in the company of her family and siblings, often creating precious memories together in her favorite place, Ocean City, NJ.

Ann was an avid reader and loved tending to her flowers. Deeply devoted to her faith, Ann was a devout parishioner of Sts. Simon and Jude Church, where she enjoyed volunteering for many years. 

Ann is survived by her children, Joann Amadio Mercer (Gary), George Amadio, Kathleen Amadio Love, and Mark Amadio (Maryann).  Ann also leaves behind her dear sister, Cathryn Schumacher and her beloved brother, John Donohue (Dottie).  Her ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren will forever carry her love and legacy in their hearts. Ann was preceded in death by her daughter, Jean Amadio Galletta and her sister Marita Donohue Fisher. 

The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude for the overwhelming support, love, and condolences received during this difficult time.
