Anna Burns

Anna R. Burns(nee Warren), age 60 , of Lansdowne , PA passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of Robert A. "Bob" Burns. Loving mother of Joseph W. Raughley (Fiancée Sarah Meiklejohn). Cherished daughter of Anna R. Warren (nee Walton) and the late William J. Warren Jr. Devoted sister of Christine DeProsperis(Barry), Diane Edwards(Richard), the late William Richard(Nancy), Virginia Zoltek, Robert (Sandy), Frances Nicosia (Winston), Gail Tuoni(Michael), Matthew(Sandy), and Joan Carter(Tim).Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and the Burns family.

Anna was a kind and helpful person who delighted in meeting new friends to hear their story. She loved her family and friends, and was very loyal to them. She was active in Sacred Heart(Clifton Heights) and St. Cyril (East Lansdowne) parishes. She loved the Mummers and their parades, The Flyers, and all her time spent at the Lansdowne YMCA. She will be dearly missed by all who were lucky enough to be part of her life.

Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate Anna's life on Thursday, December 14, 2017 with visitation in Sacred Heart Church, 316 E. Broadway Ave., Clifton Heights, PA 19018, from 9 AM to 10:45 AM and a Funeral Mass to follow at 11 AM. Interment Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery. In lieu of flowers a donation in Anna's name may be made to the Lansdowne YMCA, 2110 Garrett Rd., Lansdowne PA 19050.
