Anna L. "Loupy" Pondok Delany, 89, of Newtown Square, PA passed away on January 25, 2018 at home, surrounded by her family.
Born in Braddock, PA in 1928, she was the daughter of the late Angus and Theresa (Scanlon) McNeil.
Raised in Nova Scotia, Anna was strong-willed with a feisty personality and led a colorful life. She loved making others laugh so much that she studied to become a clown and often visited the sick and elderly. She was known by her friends and family as Loupy the Clown.
She had various jobs, always looking for a challenge and co-owned with her husband a restaurant/tavern in Lester known as "Hangout".
She loved her beach house in Brigantine, NJ and going to the casinos with her lucky sneakers on. She was a true animal lover.
Anna was the beloved wife of the late William Pondok and Paul Delany; loving mother of Patrick Pondok (Lisa), Cindy Goodman (Richard) and Stephen Pondok (Caren); loving grandmother of Rachel, William, Victoria, Nikolai, Michael, Alexander, Stephanie and Jordan and 4 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brother, Martin McNeil.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing 10:00-11:00 AM Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at SS Simon & Jude Church, 8 Cavanaugh Court, West Chester, PA followed by her Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM.
