Anna Marie Diehl (nee McMahon), age 87, of Havertown, PA, passed away on January 25, 2017. Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late John J. and Dorothy M. McMahon (nee Tynan).
Anna Marie was a graduate of West Catholic Girls High School in Philadelphia, PA and received her Associate's Degree from Delaware County Community College. She had been employed as a bus driver for Haverford Township and for the American Cancer Society. She also was employed as a real estate agent.
She loved spending time with her grandchildren, the beach and walking. Her hobbies included baking, sewing, photography and dancing. She was known to cut a mean rug.
She was predeceased by her son James A. Diehl, Jr. and her brothers John, Joseph and Thomas McMahon. She is survived by her beloved husband, James A. Diehl, her children Denise M. Diehl, Francine D. Muth (Keith), David J. Diehl (MaryEllen), Suzanne M. Cavanaugh (Shawn), Karen M. Diehl and her daughter-in-law Linda Diehl. She is also survived by her grandchildren Keith M. Muth, Mary Ellen Creighton, Kristen M. Whalen, Christopher J. Muth, David J. Diehl, Brittany A. Diehl, Maeghan M. Cavanaugh and Austin J. Cavanaugh and her siblings Dorothy, Bernard, Charles, Eileen and James.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit the family Tuesday, January 31, 2017 9:30-10:50 AM Sacred Heart Church, Manoa and Shelbourne Roads, Havertown, PA and to her Memorial Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment private.
