Anna C. “Ann” Maguire (nee DiDonato), age 85, of Drexel Hill, PA, passed away on March 25, 2023. Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late William and Anna M. DiDonato (nee Pollitt), married 67 years.

Ann was raised in the Highland Park Section of Upper Darby. She attended St. Laurence School for elementary school and graduated from West Catholic High School for Girls in 1955. Ann enjoyed cooking, dining out, and going to Sunday breakfast. She loved hosting family dinners, especially on Holidays. Ann spent a lot of time on the beach in Wildwood Crest and was always cooking crabs down the shore. She always made time to go out to lunch with her St. Laurence girlfriends who called themselves “The 8th Graders.”

Ann was the beloved wife of John “Mickey” Maguire; loving mother of John P. “Mickey” Maguire, Jr., Brian Maguire (Debbie), Paul Maguire, Christina Lavoie (Keith), and the late William Maguire and Traceyann Sweeney; caring grandmother of Brian Maguire, Jr. (Sara), Shane Maguire, Kelsey Tracy (Joe), Caseyann Sweeney, and Gerard Sweeney; adoring great-grandmother of Clara, Shane, Jr., Leo, and the late Oliver Pierce; devoted sister of the late Joan Ferrence.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing 9:30-10:30 AM on Friday, March 31, 2023 at St. Bernadette Church, 1035 Turner Ave, Drexel Hill, PA 19026, followed by her Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM. Int. SS Peter & Paul Cemetery.
