Anna Marie “Mimi” McIntyre (nee McNamara), age 80, of Crum Lynne, PA passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on July 16, 2021.
Born on January 14, 1941 in Philadelphia, PA, Anna Marie was the daughter of the late Joseph and Rose McNamara (nee McCarty).
Mimi was known by all to be a kind, caring, loving and wise person. She was very devoted to her family and faith. She would say “Don’t worry, have faith and pray to the Blessed Mother”. Mimi has a passion for cooking. She would always plan family dinners and friends were always welcomed too. She extended her cooking skills to feed many parish priests for over 30 years.
Always quick to listen, always thought from her heart. Mimi greatly loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. It was always very important to her to be involved in their lives. Her grandchildren referred to her as the G.O.A.T., THE GREATEST OF ALL TIME!!!! That she was. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Anna Marie was the beloved wife of the late James McIntyre. Devoted mother to her children Kathy (George), Diane (Armand), James (Denise), Annie and Linda. She was a loving “Mimi” to her ten grandchildren Dean, Luke, Mia (Tony), Eric, Danielle (Kyle), Jaclyn (Mike), Maria, Juliann, Rachel, and Shea. She is also survived by her five great grandchildren Lainey, Julian, Macklin, Bennett and Rocco.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit the family on Saturday, July 24, 2021 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Rose of Lima Church 1901 Chester Pike, Eddystone, PA 19022 followed by her Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment will be private.
