Anna M. Musselman

Anna M. Musselman (nee Keegan), age 96, of Linwood, PA, passed away on March 15, 2025 in her home as she wished. Born in Quakertown, PA, she was the daughter of the late Andrew A. and Mary Keegan (nee Berninger). She is predeceased by all of her 10 siblings.

Anna spoke often of a memorable experience during WWII when, as a teenager she traveled by troop train with her mother to pick up her older enlisted sister Mary (“Dine”). Surrounded by young soldiers on this journey, she met at least two potential boyfriends, but it was a local boy, Aaron "Sonny" Musselman—whom the family already knew—that captured her heart. Their love story blossomed, and Anna and Sonny were married at St. Isidore’s Church, a place that was central to the Keegan family for many years.

A devoted Catholic, Anna practiced her faith daily, finding strength in her beliefs and guidance in her prayers. She and Sonny were happily married for over 50 years. Throughout their marriage, Anna remained a loving and supportive wife, staying home to care for their household and ensuring she was there when Sonny returned from his time spent sailing. She was a conscientious fiscal manager of their meager funds throughout some lean years. She proudly recounted her budgeting skills as helpful hints to family and friends. Together, Anna and Sonny created a life full of love, lasting friendships, and fond memories. Their greatest joy came when they welcomed their daughter, Maryann, into their family.

Anna found happiness in the simple things in life. She loved reading books, watching NCIS, and spending time with her senior club. She had a special love for chocolates, strawberries, and looked forward to the large selection of homemade cookies sent by her niece Sandy. She was always up for a trip to the dollar store.

Anna is survived by her many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Aaron "Sonny" Musselman and her daughter Maryann Musselman. Anna’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be remembered for her determination, her unwavering faith, and her total devotion to her family.

A Funeral Mass will be held on March 22, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. at the Church of St. Isidore’s, 2545 West Pumping Station Road, Quakertown, PA 18951, with Burial to follow at St Isidore’s Cemetery.
