Anna May Reitze (née Haefner), 90, of Newtown Square and formerly of Broomall, PA passed away on July 19, 2017.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, Anna May was the beloved daughter of the late John and Mary (Everett) Haefner.
Prior to retiring from the Delaware County Courts in 2000, where Anna May served as a Court Officer, she was a bookkeeper for Meenan Oil Company. Anna May was an avid reader, who also loved gardening and took particular pride in her beloved rock garden.
She was the beloved wife of the late George J. Reitze, who predeceased her in 1983; loving aunt of Kenneth Oldham (Patricia), Kathleen Hennelly (the late George) and Karen Dorsch (John). Predeceased by her siblings Thomas Haefner, George Haefner, John Haefner, Lillian Oldham and Catherine Burnett.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation 10:00-10:50 AM Monday, July 24, 2017 at St. Anastasia Church, 3301 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA 19073 followed by her Funeral Mass 11:00 AM. Interment is private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to the American Cancer Society, 1626 Locust Street, Philadelphia, PA 19103.
