Anna M. Ricci

Anna M. Ricci, age 89, of West Chester, PA, passed away on July 24, 2024.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Ernst and Stella (née Kolodziejski) Zirhul.

Anna's journey began on April 19, 1935, where she spent her formative years growing up on 2 Street in Philadelphia, a place that held a special corner in her heart.

She held dear to her heart a deep affection for all things Polish, adored Pope John Paul II, and found great joy in dancing the Polka. Anna was an avid enthusiast of visiting Avalon, NJ and celebrating New Year’s Day. Her zest for life extended to her love for crossword puzzles, playing pinochle, capturing moments through photography, and sharing hearty laughter with friends. However above all her passions, nothing brought Anna more happiness than being surrounded by her beloved grandchildren and cherished family.

Anna was the beloved wife of the late Primiano J. Ricci; the loving mother of Mark Ricci (Jackie) and Primiana Ricci-Patterson (Robert); the devoted grandmother of Mark, Luke, and Matthew. She is also survived by her dear sister, Stella Zebrowski, and is predeceased by her sister, Jeanette M. Keilyk. 

Services to honor and celebrate Anna will begin with a Viewing, Wednesday evening, July 31, 2024, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM and again on Thursday morning, August 1, 2024, 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 3300 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA 19073, 610-353-6300, followed by her Funeral Service at 12:00 PM. Interment will be held privately.
