Annamae Witiak

Annamae Witiak, age 82, died on September 10, 2016 in her Aldan home surrounded by family, after fighting a battle with congestive heart failure. Devoted daughter to the late John and Mary McCartney and sister to the late John McCartney, she leaves behind her husband of 57 years, Peter Witiak, Jr., her daughter Diane (David Gaskill), her son Daniel (Eleanor) and three grandchildren, Abby, Peter and Adam.



Annamae worked full time until retiring from Drexel University in 2000. She loved to sing in the choir, read, sew, quilt, crotchet, knit and bake. She was a dedicated parishioner and loyal friend. She had the most beautiful blue eyes.



Friends and family are welcome to attend her viewing on Wednesday evening, September 14, 2016 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Assumption of the Holy Virgin Russian Orthodox Church, 2101 South 28th Street, Philadelphia, PA 19145. Church services will be held on Thursday, September 15 at 10:00 AM with burial immediately thereafter at Edgewood Memorial Park, 325 Baltimore Pike, Glen Mills, PA 19342.
