Anne P. Biehl (nee Ryder), peacefully departed on January 28, 2017 surrounded by her loving family in her home. She was 89 years old.
Devoted wife of the previously deceased John L. Biehl, Sr. She was preceded in death by her brothers Michael and Jack Ryder and sisters Mary P. (Phyl) Clancy and Margaret Tobin. Loving mother of John L. Biehl, Jr., Patricia Portare (Anthony), Margaret Campbell (James III), Mark John Biehl (Darlene), Anne M. Mosenson (Craig) and Joseph J. Biehl (Kristina). Anne was a loving grandmother to eighteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Anne was born in Philadelphia, PA and was a graduate of John W. Hallahan High School for Girls in Philadelphia in 1945. Anne started her working career at Bell Telephone before marriage and raising her family. She and John started their family in Clifton Heights before moving to Broomall, PA in 1964. She had been a longtime resident of Marple Township and a longtime and faithful parishioner of St. Anastasia Roman Catholic Church.
Relatives and friends are invited to Anne's viewing from 9:00 am to 11:00 am on Friday, February 3, 2017 at The Donohue Funeral Home, 3300 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA (610) 353-6300. Her Funeral Mass will follow 11:30 am at St. Anastasia Church, 3301 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA. Interment will be at SS Peter and Paul Cemetery in Springfield, PA.
