Anne T. Burke

Anne T. Burke (nee Cunningham), age 95, of Broomall, PA, passed away on December 6, 2022.

Born in Philadelphia, PA in 1927, she was the daughter of the late James and Emma Regina (nee Brogan) Cunningham.

Anne lived most of her life in Saint Laurence Parish and enjoyed attending mass and saying the rosary. She had a special affinity for Saint Jude, Saint Teresa, and Saint Francis of Assisi. She worked at Lankenau Hospital for over 20 years. She loved to laugh with her family, telling stories over a hot cup of tea. Anne had a love of decorating, shopping on QVC, and being surrounded by her numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her family.

Anne was the beloved wife of the late James Burke; loving mother of Judy Burke, Michael Burke (Joy), the late William Gorman, the late James Gorman, the late Diane DiGiacomo, and mother-in-law of Linda Gorman; also survived by many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation 10:00-11:00 AM Monday, December 12, 2022 at The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA 19082, 610-449-0300, followed by her Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. Interment private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Pink Sisters, Convent of Divine Love, 2212 Green Street, Philadelphia, PA 19130, would be appreciated.
