Anne Chiango

Anne T. “Nancy” Chiango, age 83, of Drexel Hill, PA, passed away peacefully on April 18, 2021.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was predeceased by her parents, Freeman and Mary (nee Rogan) Glackens, her beloved husband of 59 years, Dominic J. Chiango, daughter, Donnamarie Vennell, and brother, Albert Glackens.

Nancy was a graduate of West Catholic Girls High School, Class of ’56. She was the owner/operator of a child day care service for many years.  She was loved by the many children in her care as well as their parents. She loved being at the beach with her family and was an avid reader.  She also was a St. Joe’s and 76’ers basketball fan as well.

Nancy is survived by her loving children, Patricia Johnson (Rush), Linda O’Sullivan, Dominic Chiango and Michael Chiango (Nicole); her 9 precious grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren and her dearest sister and best friend, Suzette Hay.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing, Monday, April 26, 2021, 10:00 – 11:00 AM at St. Bernadette of Lourdes Church, 1035 Turner Avenue, Drexel Hill, PA  19026, followed by her Funeral Mass, 11:00 AM, which will be livestreamed via The Donohue Funeral Home Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/thedonohuefuneralhome/ . Interment SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
