Anne B. Kinslow (nee Welde), age 93, of West Chester, PA, formerly of Upper Darby and Media, PA, passed away peacefully at home on May 22, 2020. Born in Philadelphia, PA she was the loving daughter of William C. and Barbara Welde (nee Hebele).
Raised during the Great depression, she learned to live a life of humility and service to others. As a young woman, she worked for General Electric as an executive secretary for over 5 years where she was awarded for her expertise in shorthand and typing. In March 1951, she married the man of her dreams Edward J. Kinslow and together they raised 6 children.
A woman of tremendous faith, Anne was an active parishioner at St. Alice’s (Upper Darby), and later St. Mary Magdalen (Media) and Ss. Peter and Paul (West Chester). She attended Catholic school for the duration of her education and was a graduate of the Class of 1943 at Little Flower High School. She was passionate about helping others and practicing her faith by praying a daily rosary, participating in the pro-life events, Marian devotions, and supporting the Mother’s home in Darby. More than anything, she enjoyed spending time with her large family and practicing her Catholic faith.
Anne was the beloved wife of Edward J. Kinslow for nearly 70 years; loving mother of Edward J. Kinslow, Jr. (Faith), Dennis Kinslow (Lorraine), William Kinslow (Camellia), Annette K.
