Anne Sload

Anne C. “Rooney” Sload (née DiFabio), age 89, of Narvon, PA, passed away peacefully on February 3, 2022.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Connie (née Mobile) DiFabio.

Anne was a graduate of West Catholic Girls High School.  She liked to bake and cook for large family functions.  She adored spending time with her family, especially for the holidays and special occasions.  Her greatest joy was babysitting and being around her grandchildren.

Anne was the beloved wife of the late Paul H. Sload; the loving mother of Diane Facinelli (Peter), Rick Sload (Angela), Roseanne Teti (Greg),  Tom J. Sload (Shari), and Rob B. Sload (Lisa). She was the devoted grandmother of Kristin Facinelli (Tom), David Facinelli (Rory), Lisa Facinelli, Ben Teti (Melissa), Rachel Sload, Katelyn Sload, Brooklynn Sload, and Faith Sload.  She was the great-grandmother of Colin Thew, Bryce Thew, Liam Facinelli, Paul Facinelli and Luke Facinelli. She is predeceased by her sister, Dolores DiFabio.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing, Thursday, February 10, 2022, 9:30 – 11:00 AM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 1627 West Chester Pike, West Chester, PA  19382, 610-431-900, followed by her Funeral Service, 11:00 AM.  Interment St. Agnes Cemetery, West Chester, PA.
