Anne Wilwohl

February 11, 1940 — November 20, 2013

Anne Mary Wilwohl (nee Malloy), 73 of Honeybrook, PA passed away on November 20, 2013 at Hickory House in Honey Brook, PA.



Born in 1940 in McAdoo, PA, she was the daughter of Margaret Sherkness and Patrick Malloy.



Anne grew up in McAdoo and was a 1958 graduate of Marian High School in Lansford, PA and of Temple University, School of Pharmacy in Philadelphia, where she received a Bachelor Degree in Pharmacology in 1961. She worked at many pharmacies in the Chester County area over the years.



Anne married George E. Wilwohl in 1964 in McAdoo. They were happily married for 49 years.



She was an active member of the PTO at SS Simon & Jude and Bishop Shanahan High School. She enjoyed the Phillies, needlepoint, reading, college basketball (St. John's), knitting, cooking, baking and spending time with her children and grandchildren.



She was predeceased by her parents, her sister Veronica Shearon and Patricia Murphy.



Anne was the beloved wife of George E. Wilwohl of Honey Brook; loving mother of Dr. Kathryn M. Wilwohl, Mollie A. Strack (Brian), Patricia J. McGlone (Sean), Michael E. Wilwohl (Kari), Timothy G. Wilwohl, Christian F. Wilwohl, and Jean A. Wilwohl; loving grandmother of Rachel, Cecelia, Lauren, Allyson, Daniel, Paulina, and George; dear sister of Kathleen Malloy Maliszewski , Sister Anita Dolores, I.H.M, and Charles Malloy.



Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation 9:30-10:30 AM Monday, November 25, 2013 and to her Memorial Mass 10:30 AM at SS Simon & Jude Church, 8 Cavanaugh Ct., West Chester, PA. Interment will be private.



In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Camilla Hall Infirmary, 1145 King Road, Malvern, PA 19355.
