Anthony A. Monte, age 62, of Upper Darby, PA, passed away on January 31, 2019.
Born in Drexel Hill, PA, he was the son of the late John A. and Anna A. Monte (nee Volpe).
Anthony was employed as a meat cutter with Shop Rite Supermarkets in various locations in Philadelphia.
He loved fishing, crabbing, and cooking, especially barbeques.
He enjoyed playing darts, was an avid Eagles fan, and bowled for many years.
Anthony was predeceased by his son, Anthony J.. Monte and his brother, John J. Monte.
He
is survived by his beloved wife, Donna M. Monte (nee DiMaulo), his loving children Michelle R. Durham (Alvin), Nicholas A. Monte, Laura Lynn Marie Monte, and Angela S. Monte, and his grandchildren Travis and Gianna Durham.
Relatives and friends are invited greet the family on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 from 6:00-8:00 PM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike (cor. Lynn Blvd.), Upper Darby, PA (610) 449-0300.
Interment will be private.
